K2 Apache Xplorer......What size best for 6'5'' 265lb. advanced intermediate?

Hello 1st timer here......   I ski mainly in Utah (just bought a vacation condo there, so I'll be skiing there alot more!! ). I'm a advanced intermediate who likes groomers as well as off piste. I'm looking to buy my a set of new skis and leaning towards the K2 Xplorers. I demo'd these earlier this year in Utah and was on a 177. It felt very good, but I'm wondering due to my size if a 184 would be even better?

Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated as I getting antsy to pull the trigger!!

If the longer size isn't made for a 265 lb skier, I don't know who it is made for.

184, heck I would almost suggest something either a bit stronger or go a bit longer.

Damn! Didn't I see you on the field Sunday crushing running backs?!?!?

Ya, I would go 184 no problem. Ditto on going a bit beefier or longer. Your an adv intermediate who just bought a ski condo. Assuming you use it as it should be used you'll be advanced before you know it.

Go with more of a ski, and longer.
I'm 6'5" 320lbs, used ski at the Bird, and your going to want more ski.

Thanks everyone for the input!  I just ordered new set of K2 Xplorer 184's w/ MX 12.0 bindings yesterday and will be chomping at the bit to get on them!
