Get the green. So tired of lichen this and dead moss that.

I'm pretty sure I lack qualifications to be a fashionista.    Maybe Treckchick can help.

She'll do a write-in though. You know she will.

That seems to be the general consensus among my friends. I guess blazing by someone at 60mph in a bright green jacket would be pretty fleebin' cool

If you're going conservative I say: pick either.

Both are pretty safe.  Look at the stuff Oakley and Armada (and pretty much any snowboard stuff) are putting out:

I'm not saying "appealing"...just FLASHY.

I go by the general rule that you don't have many times in life where you can wear some ridiculous colors. Might as well do it while you are on the slopes. You don't need to go crazy, but the all black/grey only makes you look uptight. It's a fun activity. So have fun with it!

Green as bright as you can find, and its the most distrubing pattern of plaid you can find is clearly the only way.

if you dont look rediculous your not skiing

Of the two, I'd pick the green.  Personally, though, I'm getting tired of ski-wear and helmets that are effectively camouflaged.  I mean, white, black, gray, brown, and green are all colors that fail to stand out from ski terrain.  If I ever need to be rescued, I want to be in day-glo, or at least red.

Are you Japanese?

the green looks nice..  That whole drab color thing kills it for me.  I wear red/black.  It's nice to have a colored jacket because once the goggles are on, all of those drab colors look the same at 200yards.   If you're skiing with friends, colors are nice.

I especially appreciate that you have paid attention to matching the color of your boots.

That is after all why I wear red.\

Ha! yeah, that probably means I'm faster than you.

An actual functional answer:

The color of clothes serves the function of allowing people to recognize you.

If you want people to be able to recognize you: Green.

If you don't: The other one.

actually everyhting was bought post boot.......

and the function of it is so that photos actually come out looking good. Bright colors are less likely to blur in low light situation.

Thanks everyone, I think I liked the black/grey jacket cause thats what I would wear out and about, but I think the green is good for skiing. I think that green is bright and vibrant enough not to be camo, do you guys think it looks camo? Its certainly not evergreen.

bright colors help a lot to find each other as well as help others to see you and hopefully no run into you.. (although that's more of a psychcological benefit I think)....  but I like what Ecimortal said, its fun so why not have fun?

some dyes fade. I've seen the green on a volcom jacket go completely, but not from Arcteryx that has only just recently started to produce things in that color. you might ask whether the green color is guaranteed not to fade to the color of old gym shorts.

I like the Green.  The disadvantage to the Brown is that you' look like a tree, so when you ski with friends they can never find you.

As long as we're at it, I have sold almost all of my jackets this year and am going to buy a new heavy jacket.

Thinking heavily toward Millet, these are at the top of my list.

Pink is not usually my color, but I kinda like this one.^^^

I'm open to suggestion at this point.

Here is the entire women's line if you want to share an opinion.
