SL ski suggestions for high school girl - 155cm

Living in MN. High school races are all SL with very few opportunities for GS. Very strong overall skier, but only a couple years of racing experience.

Coach said to look for a 155cm length.

Looking for a decent SL ski that won't drain my bank account. Suggestions/reviews? Thank you!

Never skied any slalom skis, but Ski-Depot.com / Raceskis.com has 2009 Blizzard SL Magnesiums in a 155 for $449.  Seems like a good deal on a race ski to me? http://www.ski-depot.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=19001&Category_Code=

Again I can't comment on performance, but Blizzard seems to have done well for themselves on the race circuit?

Thanks Fujative! Talked to a couple people and did a little research. Pretty good reviews on this ski. I ordered from SkiDepot this morning!

Very good suggestion- the Blizzards are a little softer than most SL race stocks and should be perfect for your girl. Hope she rips it on them!

As a follow up, she loves the Blizzards. Made varsity this year.  Proud dad smile ---> smile.gif

Those are such awesome skis!!  I'm actually thinking about ordering those right now....  You can never have too many skis right?
