Um, since you only have one pair at the moment, I think that should be a no brainer.

Has anyone else (beside a buddy of mine) run into problems with the last minute travel CO ticket not being available any longer?

Copper skied great today (as I am sure the other area resorts did as well)...about a foot fresh, moderate snow throughout the day, light crowds and more snow predicted...

Yup, tried to buy the ticket vouchers on Saturday. The product was unavailable.

Ended up purchasing directly from Breckenridge.

If you buy over the phone, instead of off the web site, the will hold your passes at "will call", instead of mailing them out, in case you are worried about the mail not getting to you in time.

If i recall right, passes are a bit cheaper, if purchased through Breckenridge, instead of Vail. Go figure.

Yep, I did some scouting of some fun spots at Vail today.  Up to hip deep in places with face shots galore.  Vail is skiing very, very well!

Yep, the lastminutetravel website not longer lists Vail Tickets. Blame Finndog he called Vail and reported them!smile.gif

Breck day tickets are about $5 per day cheaper than Vail and a 5 day Breck ticket limits you to 2 days at Vail/BC.

So the breaks fell my way, and I'll be making it out to The Gathering.

Going to be based in Vail, and plan to ski from bell 2 bell there on Saturday. Any early arrivals who'll be around and would care for a bit of company, just send off a PM with your digits.

Thumb wrestled with Baz Jr. He lost. I've got his black one this time around.

Have a great time everyone!

Even though the deal doesn't exist on the site anymore, last week a local friend called the 800 number and additional availability was found and purchased over the phone.  That was last week and I can't speak to up to the minute conditions.

seems they have gotten less friendly with friends, even late in the season...buddy tix (for those who purchased last spring, you should have gotten 4, fall purchasers don't get any) are $59 (but going to $69 next year)

I'll probably be skiing A-Basin on Saturday.  Let me know if you want to meet up.

I've still got a few Ski With A Friend passes on my Epic Pass too. My pleasure to spread the savings to anyone who's in need of a pass.

On Vail days, I'll be at Lionshead before the lifts open.

For those arriving early or staying late and looking for some entertainment, here are a few options

Team Summit Monte Carlo Night Saturday April 2 in Silverthorne

http://teamsummitmontecarlo.com/

Breck is having their Beer Fest the afternoon of the 9th

http://www.ksmtradio.com/WhatsHappeningonKSMT/BreckenridgeBeerFestivalpresentedbyKSMT/tabid/414/Default.aspx

I'll probably be skiing somewhere this Thursday (maybe Vail or Breck) and will likely do some skiing after the gathering as well

Are you going to the Monte Carlo night?  I know UGASkiDawg and I will both be there.  Should be a good time.  Raffle tickets for heli trips and an Abasin chair from the old lift removed last season will also be given away along with with an Epic Pass for next season for the big winner in the casino games.

I used to really enjoy dealing at College Casino Nights, but we are picking up my sister in law at DIA at 5 pm, so I doubt I will be making it.

Front Range day-trippers should look into this-

CDOT looks to shut down I-70 April 5, 6

I was surprised to read that helicopter support for the road operations was not available due to wildfire operations in SE Colorado.  This has been a stellar year for snowpack.
