Anyone know of any good boot guys in NJ. I usually do my skiing in VT, but I wanted to get some boots before the season and do not feel like taking a trip up there. Does anyone know of any reliable boot sellers in NJ?

All the Ski Barn stores in NJ are still owned by the same family.  I have been to all four stores, but I always end up back at their Princeton store for all the big purchases.  I find the staff at their Princeton shop to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  They tend to only carry mainstream stuff.  However, if they don't carry it, they will usually order it for you or tell you a place where you can get it.  Call ahead and talk to Stu, Greg, or Mike for bootfitting.  I have worked with all three and they are all very good. Their annual tent sale starts Sept. 22.  Good luck.

Sorry, the store is really in Lawrenceville, not Princeton.  Missed it by one town.

It's in Pequannock, south bound side of Rt 23 just north of Wayne. If you're serious about getting a good fit, as opposed to just picking out a pair of boots, call ahead and make an appointment. They get very busy fitting boots for racers at this time of the year. You may have to make more than one trip to get the right fit.

There's also Cury's on Rt17 in Ramsey. Never been there but know folks who have and they liked them.
