With an ever expanding quiver it is high time I start taking my tuning into my own hands. I was looking for something that I could take with me, at least by car, on week long trips. Came across the T4B Terminator stand which looks quite clever and at around 11 pounds fits the bill. It is offered with three clamp options - the CordLoc, Pro500 and Cinch. I understand that the Pro has a boot insert which secures the ski to the vice. And the Cinch has a rig that minimizes movement through tension. Ultimately, they all do the same thing. So which which of the three is superior? And is the stand stout enough to permit scraping and other tuning activities without moving around?
PS: Other options?
