We're all familiar with this French term but we all have different ways of embracing the end of a day on the slopes.
When looking up the Wiki definition of the term Après-ski I realized that there can be a deeper sense of it depending on Continent, Country, or general region. Some use of the term is negative, implying that the person is socializing and not really skiing at all.
For me, its a great way to catch up with fellow skiers, continue conversations that may have started on the chairlift, and get the well deserved meal at the end of a great day on the slopes.
Its not a necessity for me but I'm always game for the social time after skiing.
