We would like to plan a trip to Salt Lake City over New Years. We have been to Salt Lake City many times before, but never over New Years. We will be renting a car or van so that we can go to several resorts while we are there. If they have the "Fast Start" pass again this year, we may take advantage of the free lift tickets for the first day. My question is...can anyone suggest a nice place to stay in Salt Lake City that won't cost an arm and a leg? Maybe one that includes lift tickets? We will already be paying a higher cost for the airline tickets because of the time of year, so we'd like to save a little on the room if possible. Thanks in advance.

Quick Start - not good until Jan 3rd, so since your arriving before, it won't work.
Use Orbitz or the like to find a room in Salt Lake City, Midvale or Sandy, the later 2 are closer to the Cottonwoods. You usually get the best deal by buying your lift ticket at the front desk.
You should find a room for $65 or so, that includes a continental breakfast.
