So, I got a pair of 2002 Lange WC 130's for next to nothing, mostly because the uppers are not attached to the lowers. The only problem is the rivet connection on the inside of the ankle. I can't spread the rivet with the usual tools because, obviously, there is no room to hammer it out from the inside of the boot. Would a bootfitter have a tool for doing this? I'm not too concerned since I figure the worst case scenario is using a regular bolt, then grinding it down, but I would like to know if anybody has any suggestions about how to do it the correct way..
On that note, the only bootfitter I know of in the Anchorage area is the World Cup ski shop; are they any good?
Thanks for your time,
