what is the best way to locate and choose instructors in the northeast? is there a database somewhere? Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? I've only been skiing three years, but am at a level where it is really starting to matter what kind of instructor I have. Im able to discern what teaching styles work best for me, and know where I need improvement, and what areas I need work in, but it would be so much easier (and less expensive!!) if there were a better way than trial and error! (not that I haven't had some really great instructors, Ive found one great one in particualr at the home mountain, (I highly recommend him if anyone is wondering - doug avery, attitash bear peak, nh) but I like to ski a variety of mtns and instructors...any ideas?
