Location: Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT
Featuring: Myself (Jake Kirshner), Kyle Wehmanen & Marcus Tofanelli

 

Two Flavors:

Medium-Res

Eyes shut.  Pretending it's snow and not dirt.

Love the seat post? mount.  Very easy to watch.

I really like this!  Helmet cam stuff usually bores me after about 30 seconds.  This is more interesting with the different angles & that you actually get other riders into the shots.

A couple different spots on the frame.  Seat post, upper tube.  It definitely took some practice =)

Jake, love the stoke, but I'm impressed by the image stability!  Are you post-processing for camera shake, or is it really that good out of the box?  Also, what video editor do you use?  Great work as always.

I was running Final Cut Studio using Final Cut and Motion (for the gfx).

 

The panning shots were done on a tripod w/ my t2i and I applied the SteadyCam filter in Final Cut to minimize any shake from the camera (though there was very little).

 

Thanks for the (+) vibes.  Makes it way fun to make these :D

Loved the shots of the front wheel going down that little rocky section near the end.

 

Really fun to watch; I'd love to see more of these.
