I have had pain caused by the toe area being too tight on my new boots land WC 130 (20 days of skiing) They have been widened three times. Just trying them on hurt my foot again . Any ideas, go back to my old grand prix's, take up snow boarding, or go to a podiatrist?
Foot pain caused by pressure at the 6th toe?
Although the pain is at your 6th toe, I'll bet the problem is your navicular area. If you hit there it will always pressure your 6th toe no matter how often it is punched. I get so many skiers into the store with the same problem. 6th toe has been punched forever and it doesn't help at all. Punch the navicular and shrink the 6th toe back and everything is good.
If I'm right teach your fitter.
Recommend you slow down just a little! Don't try blowing out the navicular. I think it is causing the problem but can't be certain as I can't see into your boot. Go to someone who knows what a navicular is and how much space it requires then let them evaluate. There is a list of fitters at the top of this forum.
