I liked the article and thought it was fairly accurate.

But if a girl is a 10 and she moves to a ski town, is she a 13?

I'd say so...

No, but she is probably staying in a $5M house, and snorting snow in the hot tub with a developer.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of those, but they usually don't stay 10's long.

I like one's that rip like Ramona.

Not ALL girls are like that.......

TRUE>>>At first glance, importing a girlfriend seems reasonable, but, unless she shreds she will not enjoy herself

Skiergirl, we're going to get along great!

I did not say "all girls".

Don't worry, the men on this forum who have ski bummed all realize that in real life most girls that are 10s who move to ski towns end up with dirt bag ski bums who work two jobs and live with two other guys.

What do they call a female ski bum?

a She-Ski Bum?

I want to be an Epic Ski Bum!

Or a Lady Bear Bum

or .........

I'm seriously poising myself to become a Professional Ski Bum..........

I will aspire to be a rippin' chick and NOT fall into the viscous trap that was described above.

I was a size 5 15 years ago.

I'd love to hear from women who have become ski bums and hear how they have found their way in an environment that is male dominant.

Perhaps Skigirl777 has some feedback,

I WISH I was the true definition of a ski bum!    Unfortunately to support my skiing habit (myself and my pooches)....I have to work full-time.  I would say that I probably ski quite a bit considering that I do have a full-time job.  As far as finding my way in a male dominant environment....well, I LOVE to ski and have a deep passion for it.  I hang with really good MALE skiers....in fact 99% of the time that I am "free-skiing" (not instructing) I am with men (not too many women have the same passion for the sport as me).  I think I do a good job of either blowing them out of the water or keeping up with them....so I HOPE that they have a certain respect for my skiing abilities.  As a side note....I am always willing to give my opinion!
