The VT. Passport as they are called work fine at Sugarbush & Stowe or any other Vt. area for that matter. The problem you'll run into is that each passport is supposed to be used a different VT. resort. Buy a book of 3 & you'll have to use them at 3 different areas & same thing with a book of 5. You can't use them all at the same area. Otherwise they are an excellent deal. Certain holiday blackouts also affect there use. They are offered by the VT Ski Area Association & usually become available Sept- Oct with a limited supply for sale.
I hope we're talking about the same thing as VT. Passports can be used on weekends as well. Just not on holiday weekends or weekdays. I usually buy 2 books of 3 that I use to ski other areas a few times a year. I do have a season pass for one VT. area which is the best deal for me. The cost has remained the same for several years with a book of 3 costing $125 & the book of 5 @ $200. There is a limit with each person only allowed to buy 2 books of 3 & 1 book of 5 max.
