I wouldn't be looking at the Nomad since I have a similar shape 130/105/120 Blizzard Answer that cranks most stuff pretty well. Just want something with more float/good in trees for the deeper stuff.
I saw a post elsewhere where you said you expected to ski the Keepers in Chile over the summer, but never saw a follow up. I take it you didn't get to ski them?
Anybody skied the Keepers?

I am usually 195ish during ski season. 5'10". I ski the 174 and it floats just fine for me. The tips are idiotically large. I have skied the small one too and felt the tail was missing. I have never skied the big ones but hear good things. I think you could go either way and be just fine. The extra length might be nice on deep days but you can't beat 174 in the trees.
I echo Finndog's comment on +1 on the mount.
I think I'd probably go for the 184's and just pray not to kill myself on them.
On the other hand, what are we really talking about here? I still can't comprehend the metric system. So they're 160mm at the tip. My Answers are 130, and that doesn't freak me out much. The Shaman is wider by 30mm or ~1.18" at each ski tip:
Overall, ~2.4" more to float my tips.
Only ~.4" more total underfoot
Only ~.8" more total tails
So the tips will look a little wider than I'm used to, float a little more and give me a tighter turn radius, and that's about it. They also MUST be softer than the Blizzards.
I don't think that would kill me. Sounds like fun. But in reality, I might want to go even wider and longer to a ~188-191 to see a big powder difference over my 185 cm. Answers.
189cm Keepers? NEED REVIEWS!!
