Totally ridiculous 11 quiver

Thread Starter

This comment by SierraJim in the 2010 active quiver thread made me chuckle and wonder what kind of crazy an 11 ski quiver may look like.

There are few rules to this, but the number one rule is be ridiculous!

I don't get it.  Are we supposed to invent one?

you want ridiculous.....I'll show you ridiculous!

Phil's got the right idea.

As does Rossi Smash!

Create an 11 ski quiver, no matter how crazy it seems.

That's not nearly ridiculous enough

A guy in NC surely needs a praxis or Pontoon to round things out, eh?

Anyone have any ideas what a ridiculous 11 ski quiver should look like for the likes of me?

I have a 6-ski quiver and it doesn't seem silly.

189 Shanetoon w/916- Stupid deep, and because I can.  Wouldn't you get one if you had the chance?

188 Ninthward CVP w/916- Deep days

190 Ninthward NGP w/Dukes- Everyday

195 PM Gear SuperBRO w/916- For days when gong fast is not fast enough, for going plaid.

189 Kung Fujas w/Dukes- Earn yer turns

192 777 w/916- For smashing rocks

I could easily add five more:

Elan WC SLX- Who doesn't want a SL ski?

Elan WC GSX- Why not?

Volant Huckster- So I could have His first and last pro-model skis.

Ninthward THA 187- Opening day pow(stump) chasing.

192 BRO- Because I want them.

191 BRO- Because I want them too.

I don't think I could ever build an 11 ski quiver.  The rate I can afford to purchase new skis vs. the rate I use them up is disproportionate.

If I could...

Hart Javelin SL 165.......................................65mm

Hart Javelin GS 191......................................67mm

Dynastar Speed Course Ti 184...................72mm

Elan Puzzle 185.............................................80mm
Nordica Ace of Spades Ti Pro 184............86mm

Kneissl Fly Star 183......................................87mm

Elan Sling Shot 185.......................................92mm

Hart Barhopper 188....................................102mm

Kastle MX108 187/195?............................108mm

Rossignol S7 195........................................115mm

Line EP Pro 185..........................................127mm

never sell a bicycle, either. It's just not done. (and I never doubted you would have some awesome rides) I have a Bianchi Super Legerra, circa 1982, chromed completely, black and gold paint with a Campy super record panograph group. the frame was tweaked in a crash and I have to get it to Ed Litton for a tube replacement and alignment. That was a sad day. I need it restored for riding to those races where the old timers ride their vintage steeds.
