Hot Snow Bunnies that only come out when it's sunny bother me.  If I'm out there braving the storm and making it look good, so should they!

Or they light up in the chair in front of you-and it's not tobacco they're smoking.

True, but people who smoke tobacco on the lifts are less likely to crash into another person than those who smoke dope on the lift.

Especially when they do it in a gondola and leave the windows shut so when you get in it smells horrible.

For the right person-could be. Back in the day we'd carry a bit of hash on our road rides (bicycles). After 40 miles or so, we'd toke up and HELLO! Mr5150 felt no pain!

It was like flying at an altitude of three feet with someone else doing the pedaling.

***************

Just so you know, I haven't touched the stuff in 20 years.

LOL, you anti smoker guys could never ski with the" BOYZ".

We light em up, both the legal & illegal kind.

Pass the flask around etc.

Do some pretty serious skiing in between.

I like to see one of you fags tell us not to.

Now that would be even more fun.

We never litter though.

We're above that crap.

And for the most part we don't ski in Canada....LOL.

Got to make it a point to bring the "BOYZ" to Stowe this year...

I'd be more interested in seeing patrol pulling your pass/ticket when you give him that attitude about your on lift behavior.

For sure the "teamer"  slob mentality grinds on me.

Too much terrain dedicated to "race"

We pay to learn to turn/ski better in a "coin-op" course built and operated at low expense to the area,,but Vastly expensive Terrain Parks are free and generally foster poor ethics and manners, not withstanding tend to introduce the "City" aspect of sports.

Runaway Freeride pods in tight formation that straightline it.

Boarders [mostly], that come flying out of the sidecountry out of nowhere onto the trail network.

Have I missed any?????

There is one common denominator to all of this,,it's no suprise the growth of BC

I hope ski area management is watching,,,,and heeding,,,,,,I'm seeing fewer family ski-weekers in the US.....It's too easy to graba flite to "Disney"!!!!!!!

GROOMING everything in site!

People who do not understand lift lines.  Be patient and wait your turn for crying out loud.

Trash talkers who believe they are the only ones around.  C'mon watch your language.

The ones who throw their garbage on the ground.  They should be shot.

Watch where you are going and pay attention to what is going on around you.

Don't come to my mountain and complain about it.  Nobody is forcing you to be there.

Just get out there and have some fun.  That's what it is all about anyway isn't it.

No replies to this so I will pose another question , off topic I know but someone may be able to help.

On June 3rd I ordered and payed for 2 copies of the Sweetgrass Productions movie " Signatures " to be sent to me in Australia. After waiting a couple of months for delivery I emailed them enquiring of their whereabouts and recieved a prompt reply from Zac saying that he was in Sth America filming and that he was sorry and would chase it up for me Stateside and that I should hear something back within the week. That is the last contact I have ever had from him or anyone in Sweetgrass.

It is upsetting on 2 fronts .Firstly on copiy was to have been for my 83 yo Dad who now is to old to fly to Japan and enjoy the delights of Hokkaido Powder and secondly as I have to wait til Jan 2011 toget my next fix of Niseko pow and the movie would have been the medicine to get me thru til then.

I am hoping someone on this forum my know someone at Sweetgrass who can help me with this.

It makes no sense why I would recieve such shabby treatment from them

Thanks May the Pow be with you

To those annoyed with racers, I promise as a coach I'm trying to deal with the problems and I have the youngest racers so hopefully it will stick.  My kids are absolutely not allowed to horse around in lift lines and they most certainly are expected to wait their turn.  And they must (even at 5 & 6) rack their skis.  I'll help them but I make sure they do it.  And our head coach will put skis of our kids he finds lying around in garbage cans.  I've seen him do it.  And I caught one of our best racers use the ski school line (they aren't allowed) last year.  Reported to his coach (who also happens to be his dad) and he was cut off from training the rest of the day and had to just sit with dad.  I understand where you guys are coming from because I see it from our older racers (I've been known to throw their skis out of my way when I trip over them getting to our backpacks) but some of us coaches are trying.

Seems to me if you want anyone to see this you should start a new topic in the right forum.

Sibhusky,

Thanks , which forum do you suggest for complaints about Sweetgrass ?

I am actually trying to get a bit of genuine help with this as I am to far away from US to physicaly do anything about it . I have only been relying on their good business practices which so far has only left me out of pocket
