Season Footage

It's July and have been thinking about skiing a bit lately, so I finally got around to editing some of the footage from my last freeskiing competition, and then threw in some extra additional footage as well from the past year or so.  Everything shot at Kirkwood, CA.

Hope you enjoy.

Nice, but the ending was a cliff hanger (literally!) I want to know how the rest of that line went....

Tyrone, the link in your signature goes to a domain that's for sale - just thought you'd like to know.

Yes, I enjoyed that.  Thanks!

Ya know, some of those POV shots really made me feel like I was right there contemplating those lines.  Thing is though, if it had been me I prolly would have chosen the line back up the hill =)

There wasn't much more of a line after that moment.  All I did was straighten out my skis and cruise through...so nothing too exciting.  I thought it would be a better edit to leave that vid as a "cliffhanger", but here is the full unedited version of that line with the ending intact:

oh yeah I know, thanks.  I just need to get that out of my signature line.  I had that going as a blog for awhile, but then realized that it was kind of lame, so I stopped updating & contributing to it.

The climax of the World Heli Challenge 2009 at Wanaka was the VNC Downhill Run with 43 of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world going flat out down the slopes to find out who is the fastest of them all. In the womens ski section, Jacki Passo crossed the line first and Maria Kuzma from Wanaka won her third straight event in the womens snowboard. In the mens competition, Ted Davenport was the fastest skier and Ralph Backstrom was quickest on a snowboard.
