My daughter Damaris in print...and JH has dramatic news about season pass pricing.

Damaris, age 6, is a 75+ day skier each year @ Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.  She's in the Junior Pricing box with the yellow skis.  She's a ripper.

Actually, some of you January Gang (you know who you are!) may be better off purchasing a season pass or even a twenty day pass instead of purchasing tickets.  The season pass may make a second trip to JH possible or even cheaper.

That's the cheapest season pass for The Village that I can remember in 20 years!  I love it!

She is a cutie for sure. With SIA and ESA, I cannot see me making it back in January...now later in the year might be an option. How far is JH from Reno?

That's cool! She's probably pretty pumped!

I was looking at some of these prices last week.  Hats off to JH for making their season pass prices more reasonable.  Especially for the young ones and the seniors.  .   The $91 a day price for adults.  Ouch.  I only ski at JH 6 days a year.  I usually get a reduced ski ticket package that is included with the hotel,  which is discounted.

Cute daughter.  She looks like she has a lot of energy.

Actually, knowing Damaris..she is thinking "yeah. that's me. I know. I am about a cool as any cucumber..wait till you see me ski..."  What is amazing is that kid already has more ski days under her belt than most people here will get in their whole lives.

Shock and Awe...

That's the reaction on the street here in JH.

Let me just tell ya' boyz, there's gonna be some local stoke goin' on at the Village this year!

As a matter of fact, I was swilling with some of the shop guys last night and we're all stoked about the new pricing.

Philpug: Huh? No January? Stay with us and save some bread!

I hope Damaris gets a FREE pass for the season.

When I saw that photo in the paper I pointed it out to Ruthie, saying "that's Stephen's kid!".  Your family is overflowing with models (for good reason).

Great news on the passes.

This announcement on pass prices seems like a perfect segue for this classic video that Stephen posted a link for here awhile back:

I laughed so much I cried.

Eventually you will be approached for sponsorship contracts on these kids.

Here is some history on Phil and Steve Mahre that I read from their book years ago.  I found it on Wikipedia.

By the age of 12, the Mahre twins future was so promising that ski manufacturers sent them free skis, and the next year Rossignol tried to sign them to a career-long contract to use their skis, which their father declined. Eventually they would use skis made by an American company, K2, throughout their career.

Bob, thanks for reminding me of that video.  Crack me up! ^

Not intended to take away from Damaris, whom I have not had the pleasure of skiing Yet (emphasis on yet), but I have had the pleasure of skiing with UGASkiDawg's daughters and all I can say is..........the next generation of rippin' chicks is inspirational.

Go Damaris and her fellow rippers!
