Finn, there are many places in the east where you have rolling terrian and no climb is taller than 200' or so. But if you ride 30 miles you will rack up the vertical to a few housand ft of climbing. No its not all in one big chunk. Aerobicly this is easier than jsut grinding straight up as you can get little bits of rest on the down hills and flat sections. But technically and tactically its more of a challenge. You can't jsut go into climbing mode in your mind.
