Epic Pass deadline, price increase?

The epic pass is $599 now.  I can't find any info on how long they will be selling it and for how long at that price.

Anyone know?  From past years any info that I could use to kind of guess at this year's policy?

Sounds like a big price increase?  Not my state, but I thought it used to be much lower.

Last year by buying in April of 2009 I got them for $569, so it hasn't really gone up.

Colorado pass is $449, which is unlimited A basin, Keystone and Breck, plus 10 days Vail or BC.  But 2 of the blackout days are our first two days of our 2 week trip.

The Colorado resorts usually end the sales of season passes the weekend of the Colorado Ski and SnowBoard Expo. However, the last few years, for prior season pass holders they have extended the courtesy to renew on-line to the following weekend. This year the Expo is scheduled for 11/3/10 to 11/8/10, extended days.

Vail Resorts is always answering questions there. Go to the source.

The deadline is floating to ultimately buy a Colorado season pass - depends on the resorts marketing dept.   They even sneak in special sales at super select events.  Heck you could buy a special Epic Pass at SIA in January.  Of course you had to be a credentialed snow sport professional (closed to public) to get into SIA.   Show that PSIA card, pay $40.00 entrance, go buy a pass. I'm not going to say how ridiculously cheap that Epic Pass was - I was even tempted to buy one.  I didn't though.  Vail did comp me two days this spring during clinics. Thank you Vail Resorts.
