Ride the Beaver

Thread Starter

Now that I have your attention, and to those who are wondering if this is another Wax vs Shave thread, I'm talking about Beaver Island, Michigan

They are having the first annual Bike the Beaver weekend, which I was planning on doing with my cousin and a group of her friends.

I still may bite the bullet and do it, but with this unfavorable forecast, coupled with my sister in law and brother in law coming to visit for the weekend, and I'm torn..........

Am I just a big sissy to back out on this?

Take the in-laws with you.   A little dirt on the family can be a good thing.

honestly if I didnt ride in rain/wet Id get so much less mileage in.

my goal when riding in the rain is to make everyone else wish they were as happy as me. I kinda of like it, really like in road races as it makes it easier to break apart groups.

Trekchick,

Just think of it as sweating from the outside in.

Seriously, I would do the Big Beaver and just plan on it getting wet.
