I was just diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans (OCD - bone lesion in the knee).  It looks like I'll need some surgery to patch it up, repair tissue, and then a long recovery period.


Anyone else out there have experience with this condition?  Apparently it's more common (and recoverable) in juveniles.  At 40 and far from juvenile (at least physically!).
