I've got a pair of Watea's 84 and need to install bindings on it. I want to use Tyrolia family bindings, something like Mojo 12. However, there is one thing that sort of bugs me. The width of the toe is 90mm on that binding, it sits very low on the ski (20mm to the widest part) and the ski width is 84. Can it be that during the strong curving (or any) turn, when skis are edged to the max, the wide part of the toe will touch the snow and possibly interfere with the ski flex or worse promote binding release?
What do you think?
