Awesome Spring skiing at the 'Bird!.  Mineral Basin side was soft early and, just as it got slushy the Peruvian side was turning to velvet.  Snowbird is going to be open a couple more weekends so hit it if you can.

Great to hear good skiing can still be had.

 

I'd love to make it down there, but I can't talk the wife into extending our season any longer. :(

Pictures, we need pictures!

 

Glad to hear folks are still out there on the mountain.

 

Summer is in full swing here, 85 and humid.  Nice weather for outdoor volleyball and mt. biking though!

Amazing the amount of snow they still have Memorial Day weekend.

Hate to rub it in but they will be open at least 3 more weekends.  I know what I'm doing for Father's Day and it won't be playing golf!

I was up at the Bird May 30th.  Awesome skiing.  I'm very thankful to live 10 minutes from the greatest snow on earth, especially this time of year.  This next weekend should be just as good as last.

04/05 I skied there april-may and im sold- i might even marry an US girl just to live there!! Love the photos- looks like velvet...

 

Its snowed over a meter last week here in New Zealand and Coronet Peak opens Saturday 5th June, Mt Hutt with over a meter 
base opens 12th. (nzski.co.nz)

 

Still- The Bird looks great----if anyone knows Fitz (no 1....arsehole on the mtn) please tell him hello from Casey- - the maroon vw vanwagon.

I need to stop looking at this topic. I am reconciled to summer, then I come here and look at all these pics of Snowbird, JH, .... grrrrr....
