I love this shot! Nice deep-focus, long-shutter example. Is this also an HDR or an ND-grad shot?

3 stop ND (non grad) filter stacked on a circular polarizer...

1/3 second, bumped the shadows a bit in post...

no HDR, single exposure and that shadow bit in post...

Eh, all my pictures have blurry stuff in 'em. Adding some elements in sharp focus would certainly enhance the photos, but it's an idea that had already occurred to me.

This is more the result of panning, I believe. The second one for sure.

Love the thistle head shot! (if it is a thistle - 2nd one up)

I've been playing with my new lens.

Here's the original:

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4002/4656800418_2a26925d38_o.jpg

Exposure: 1/40

Aperture: f/10.0

Focal Length: 180 mm

ISO Speed: 100

Subject distance: 50cm

Would anyone like to calculate the DoF for that?

How's the Bokeh on this? This little guy emerged a few minutes prior and was unfolding his wings.
