Best combo: Apres + Terrain

What ski area has your favorite combination of skiing and everything else?  I like Breckenridge a lot.  The skiing is great and the town is pretty cool.  I've heard Steamboat has good apres but lacks the bowls and other steep skiing.  What's your opinion?

WB is the right answer for spots 1 thru 3.

Breck fails miserably in the terrain catagory but has some night action, S'boat's apres is, well nicely stated, umm, sparse (there's no village at the hill), and the town isn't a real hoot after dark.

Aspen, Flail would be in the top 5.

In the East, Killington has great terrain and amazing apres - including lots of assorted shuttle vans to assist hopping without driving...

Aspen, Telluride, Jackson Hole. All of them I'd go back to in a heart beat!

I think Vail has pretty decent apres but I never stick around long enough to find out for sure. Nor does my wallet able to stand it for long. The terrain is definitely good enough for most and the snow is great. Atmosphere is what I don't like about Vail. FAKE is the word. Other than that, it's a much better resort than many!

Easy:

Chamonix with Chambre Neuf

Engelberg with the Yukitan

Verbier with the Mount Fort Pub

Haven't been to St. Anton, but apparently it takes the cake in both regards.

Jackson Hole... arguably the best lift serviced steep skiing in North America  and the Mangy Moose at the bottom.

The town of Breckenridge is pretty nice and the skiing can be decent but the elevation does make me want to enjoy the apres scene too much.

Boyne Mountain of course.....

Apres-skiing is for tourists.

Or picking up tourists if you're so inclined.

I've always been a fan of Sun Valley, ID.  It's got a nice combination of a good mountain and fun town.
