Dynastar bindings, PX 12 JIB and PX 12 lifter

I have a new set of twin tips and I'm looking at Dynastar PX 12 Jib and the PX 12 lifter bindings. Does anyone know the performance difference between these bindings. Both of these bindings will fit my skis. I've checked out the Dynastar web site and they don't have any detailed info about how these bindings perform.

You put lifter on carving skis to get more leverage; soft snow skis typically benefit from the low lift of the JIB bindings, since you have a twin-tip I suspect you are better off going with Jib version.

Thats interesting, thanks for the reply. I ski mostly in the southeast and a little more bite on a ski with a 22.5m radius might not be a bad thing. I don't go in the park all that much but I do get some air and ski switch. I bought them for days when we have some powder. It's not like out west so I'm talking about 6" to 10" and all I want is some extra float when the conditions are right.

Get the Jib.  You just don't need a lifter in powder.

I would say just get wichever one you can get the best deal on. The rise on the lifter is so minimal that it is almost a moot point.

Lifter rise is .6cm. Nearly impossible to discern on-snow difference from Jib, its a marketing tool. Same binding, same feel for us mortals. The Race versions have metal instead of composite in the heel, in case you prefer it. ecimmortal got it right, get whatever is the best deal.
