Yet another has made the move.

It really seems like Johan Eliasch is playing a big 'ol game of Pokemon: he's collecting every top-level racer he can, or so it seems.

I can only hope that they have enough top-quality product to go around, given the big signings this off-season have a lot of overlap in disciplines with the already-signed crowd.

There are no bad skis, but it appears there are some with better deals than others.

Head does have a good ski/race team right now, maybe they are a little faster than rest, with Bode-Lindsay-Herman-Jon(Ollson)-Maria.Didier to mention a few.( I put Jon Ollson with racers as he is trying to race at next olympics, and he won a couple of decent level races this year.)

I heard Head where in a Financial struggle?? Maybe not! Go Ted, Go Head

With this much talent moving to Head we made the decision to add their line of race skis next season.  It'll be interesting to see what the response is.

Exact same response by my race shop in Minneapolis...

You may have missed Herman Maier's retirement last fall. that helped pay for lindsey's entry onto the bad boy racing club @ head.

since johann eliasch is paying the freight for his WC dominating team out of his personal account, it is not so important as to how head is performing commercially as a company at this time, although it may be important for the long term for head to figure out how to make money in the ski business, especially in the US market.

I think main point in this is different, and it's not so much money related. I see bigger problem delivering good skis for so many top racers and after that, also not so small EC team, and then further down the chain. To be honest, I'm not sure they will be perfectly comfortable doing this. Yes they will somehow take care of WC team one way or the other, but down the chain, people will suffer. So in my mind, if you are not one of those in their (huge) stars WC team, you would be better of with any other ski then Head... even for skiers who are placing in top 15 on WC (but not regularly in top 5) going other way would be good thing to do at this moment.
