Level II trip Report. Bizarre Story 2

Getting ready to go take exam no. 2, I threw everything in my backpack, helmet, gloves, clothes ect. I go to the MT a day early to ski around and get used to the terrain. It was soggy and I was a little concerned. The next day, I was all geared up and ready to go much earlier than the 8:30 timeline. I skied well the first day. I was just beat when I got home. I threw my helmet on the dresser. Inside my helmet was a pair of black underwear.

I was not going to share this story with other candidates on my team, however, spirits seemed to sink a little low on day 3. I took one for the team and told my underwear story. Everyone got a good laugh and told me I would always be remembered as the chick who showed up and skied the exam with her panties in her helmet.

Is that how it goes in California, you take your panties off along with the ski helmet?

* note to self... move to California.

Maybe the panties were good for your mojo, eh?

I've heard of candidates delivering a lesson plan being "All caught up in their Underwear" but didn't know it was a real occurrence...

Let us know how it goes.  Always nice when these stories have a happy ending.

If it were socks I would understand.  Remember MIss GoWithAPro said it was rainy, haven't you ever taken a spare pair of socks in case the ones you are wearing get wet?  I would assume it was something like that, altho my "summer" (regular) underwear are underneath my longjohns, and my longjohns underneath my bibs, so neither longjohns or underwear ever get wet.  My socks can get wet especially when it is snowing or raining.

GWAP, why don't you post a comprehensive report of all of the wierdness in the ski instructor forum.  And while you are there they can give you a little instructor title to go with your name.  Even tho you didnt pass your level 2 I will vouch for you that you are a respected instructor   (aren't these smileys so much more fun the mm forums?)

Good thing you didn't join the group in the lodge for lunch!

those of us unfortunate enough to suffer cerebral leakage, nocturnal/diurnal (and all seasons), can only benefit from panties as headgear.

Good thing you didn't get your knickers in a knot! That would have been a little uncomfortable!
