JPH's "I'm Having a Baby" Ski Sale

That's right, a baby!!!  My wife is due on June 4th with our first, a girl who will most likely be named May.  With her arrival imminent I'm thinking that it may be time to thin down the quiver and bank a few extra bucks.  I've currently got 11 pairs of skis in the basement.  Add to that the three and a snowboard that my wife has and honestly it's starting to seem a little unreasonable, my ski rack only holds 7 pairs!  Here's what I'd like to get rid of, I think the prices are all pretty reasonable but if not feel free to make me an offer.  Prices do NOT include shipping, and local pickup/delivery is available anywhere around Boston or North Conway.

[2010] 176 Volkl Ledge w/ Look P12 $300
111-84-111, 21m
Skied these less than a dozen days, although the bindings have many more on them.  There's been a bit of p-tex repair but no major damage.  They show some typical top-sheet chipping around the edges, and are mounted for a 290 BSL.

[2007] 162 Rossignol Z9 Oversize w/ integrated Axial2 120Ti bindings.  $300
126-74-105, 13m
These are in excellent shape, and have been a good snow / groomer ski only.  The integrated axial 2 bindings easily adjust to any bsl without remounting.

[2006] 172 Karhu Jak Team Edition.  $150
134-100-125
The same ski as the Line Prophet 100, these have been mounted for Voile Hardwire, Medium Naxo's, and Salomon 900s' with a 284 bsl.  I've done some minor p-tex repairs, but never seen the core.  Edges are dull, but solid, and one ski shows possible beginnings of de-lamination in the tip (see pics) but could be quickly and easily filled up with epoxy.

[2001?] 170 Volkl P40 SL $100
102-63-89
Mounted three times for salomon, the smallest BSL is 284.  (Not sure of the others but could try to measure if someone's interested.  These were well taken care of, and are in great shape aside from the multiple mounts.

Haha, thanks.  That's an old picture of the Jak's, the Lhasa's have Pivot 14's on them now, and are definitely NOT for sale!

I know it's a tough time of year to be trying to sell skis, but I see there have been quite a few views to this thread...

If the prices are in any way un-reasonable, please let me know!

I've got to get these things out of the basement, and apparently pay for a breast-feeding class...

which I've also been told I have to attend.

Yeah, I had to go to this class too.  Then, i had nothing to do with the actual process.  Enjoy.

I am actually looking at the ledge in a 169, would you tell me how or if you liked them and how well do they perform. Do they ski like a typical Volkl? Any info would be helpful. Thanks,  Dave

JPH, congrats on the upcoming addition to the family, would you at your convenience shoot me a PM with your thoughts of the Ledge. As I mentioned that I am actually looking for a 169 but  some insight from you would be appreciated. FYI I am about 5'8 and 160 and a pretty decent overall skier. I currently have a Volkl  Tigershark Ten and a Volkl Bridge.I am looking for something in between these as kind of a play ski for bumps and trees, etc. Do you feel  this would fit the bill?Look forward to hearing from you, thanks.          Dave
