New Ski Jacket Need Help

Thread Starter

Hey everyone. I most likely will need to get a new ski jacket and ski pants some time before the next season begins. I have looked at a bunch of companies and coats. And I was hoping that some of you might be able to recommend some companies or coats. However one coat that really caught my my was a coat made by Helly Hansen. the coat is worn by pro skier Eric Pollard. Only Problem is I don't know what its called and I cant find it anywhere because of that. Maybe some of you guys know what coat he wears???

Here is a pic that might help.

I'm going to assume that since he's carrying next years EP pro, that the jacket he is wearing is next years Helly Hansen.

Go on either Steepandcheap.com or Tramdock.com and you can get killer deals on numerous brands of jackets and or shells.I do not know if you are familiar with either of these sites. Deals come up one at a time for about thirty minutes or so and then they are done, usually at least 50% off or so.Take a peak.

Yeah Spyder does make great jackets. I liked my spyder a lot. However, I have come to realize there are other clothing companies besides spyder. So I would like to find out what some other good companies and jackets are...

and BTW I was asking for advice, I wasn't asking people to post smart aleck comments...

You should strongly consider Backcountry.com's in house brand Stoic.  I have the welder low softshell and it's very well made and comfy.  Stoic stuff comes up all of the time on steepandcheap.com at 50%+ off retail.

Check GearTrade.com for some great deals on lightly used and new jackets.
