FWIW, you might want to look into a rockered-tip ski for your go-to ski. In the backcountry, powder and corn are the gold standard but we're just as likely to find breakable, potatoes or other less-than-optimal snow.
The rockers make it ALL optimal snow. Bigger payback for the uphill investment, IMHO. YMMV.
I think that 100mm underfoot rockered-tip skis are going to be the standard BC ski going forward. I spend almost zero time inbounds and you'll have to look elsewhere for feedback on inbounds performance, but if you're primarily a BC skier you'll want to have a look.
