The rain should slicken up the snow in the morning with possible thunder storms in the afternoon, looking forward to an excellent 10-20 minutes of skiing before getting soaked. Perhaps raingear is in order.
Pete you gonna sit on the deck and enjoy the rain? Bringing a umbrella? Rubber undies?

Hi Teledance,   NO !! If it is raining I am not  even going up the Gondola.  Skiing and rain suck.  Weather man has gotten in wrong a lot this winter, hopefully he'll be wrong tommorrow.  See ya.

I'm checking the weather closely. I'd really like to share Pete's birthday in some fashion and skiing is the best I can think of.  We'll see. I got good weather protection and have way too much fun in the rain but it's hard to get many excited about that. Rain makes the snow fast and slimy.I haven't skied my B-Squads all year They love that stuff.
Call me undecided but game if you guys are.

Pete, I sent you an email earlier in the week about not going due to headache.  I sent it to the wrong person....one above you in my contacts!  EEK!  When I hurt, I don't think.

Happy birthday!    It's golf season!

Happy Birthday Pete, it was pouring when I got up in Liberty Lake. i got the paper and decided I didn't like the rain as much as I thought after such a nice week working outside.

Yeah ,golf. This is what I am going to have ot get into . I got a once used punch card for the driving range and the need for some lessons. i think it's time to turn the page for my self after a very gratifying ski season.

I suck at golf but like most of us i have my moments. Now to try to connect some of these into a good round.

See ya all at the golf course..

thanks TC,  68 years, eek never thought I'd make it this long.   Had a cool birthday, AM skied Silver Mt. left at noon and found a new driver after demoing  6, hit it pretty good.  Then played 9 holes in Couer d Alene.  Cool day.

And yes, it rained a little on the mt. interesting variable conditions.

Come and join us Saturday.  Will be the last day for any local resort.  They plan on opening at 830 and run till 1:30 no chair 4 as they are having the Leadman race, ski-bike-run to bottom.

Welcome to Epic.    Moosedrool will be good.  Stay tuned here for who is going Sat.

Wasn't a bad day but not great either.  Never rained, a few flurries and a couple of times the sun broke through.  Snow was a little weird, chopped up and frozen underneath an inch or so of new.  Very few skiers, most of the people were either there for the race or hanging out at the terrain park.  Only 1 & 2 were open so not a lot of options as far as runs go, I called it a day around noon.

Here is a lousy cell phone pic.
