No Tuckerman for me this year. However I plan to ski at Sunday River, ME tomorrow (two trails have enough coverage). Surgery for my right knee is scheduled for next Thursday.ode to fsc.jpg

There once was a fetching young thing
who loved to ski in the Spring
Through the corn she would swoosh
Not one turn, she'd just schuss
Then something really filthy happens, but I can't think of a rhyme.

My skis are sad; they were hung up today.
They cried,"Wait, you love us".
The snow has been so fine this last month,
these skis (and their friends) brought so much happiness.
They were jealous of the golf clubs coming out today.

FORE!

Tush rhymes with Schuss (sort of) and  a schuss can leave one on their tush.

I don't know how to wax poetically. I wax ironically.

In a limerick, the rhyme scheme is aabba; the last line rhymes with the first two lines, not the third and fourth. I need something ribald to rhyme with thing and spring, not swoosh and schuss.
