Smith Helmet Helper: Where to get?

Does anyone know where to get the Smith Universal Helmet Helper?  This is a peice that replaces the buckle on the Smith goggles with a piece of plastic, so that the strap can fit the helmet goggle strap.  My new POC helmet has a goggle attachment clip that does not fit the buckle.

Here is how it looks:

Helmet Helper

(On a side note: POC makes great helmets but the concept of a google strap is foreign to them, they got it right only on $200+ Synapsis and the kids' POCito; all the rest have attachments that are afterthoughts at best, or designed to eliminate all other goggle manufacturers).

I needed one for a pair of Smith I/O goggles and had a hard time finding one.  The few places I found online, wanted way too much for shipping such a small item.  I finally got one in a shop at the base in Deer Valley, but the instructions did not make sense.  A nice fellow at the Deer Valley shop knew the instructions were incorrect and installed it for me.  Typical example of the great, friendly service at Deer Valley.

I think I'd try a more direct question to the ski industry retailers on this side- does your shop have one of those and are you willing to sell that to me at a normal price and shipping cost?   Thanks in advance!

I loaned my helmet helper to a friend and when I got it back, I misplaced it and now I'm really really bummed.
I need to replace it!

I ordered it from the Smith website.  It's fairly cheap, around $10 - $12 IIRC.

Got them.  Works well.  If anything, it should be included with every Smith goggle.

They should, it's bad when a Smith goggle doesn't work well with a Smith helmet.

I agree Alexzn.  I love the lens quality of the smith goggles, and like how they fit the front of the helmet, but always struggle with the strap length and how they fit the back of the helmet.
The helmet helper makes that all better...
