Dynastar 6th Sense Distorter skis

I am looking at my first pair of skis. I was recommend the Distrorters from a guy at a local ski shop. I have been skiing blacks and a few double blacks in rentals so I think anything will be an improvement but what do you guys think about these skis? I want an all mountain ski. I like hitting the bumps and tree runs.

You don't say what if any brand of skis you prefer, but if you're skiing blacks, you shouldn't have any trouble with the Distorter. It is the latest incarnation of the Dynastar Troublemaker line, which were good all-mountain twin-tip skis. I checked out the Distorter at my local ski shop and liked the look and feel of it. I have not demoed the Distorter, but my everyday ski is the somewhat fatter Dynastar Big Trouble. I love the BT in fresh snow, cut-up crud, spring slush, wind-blown hard pack, everything the mountain has to offer. The Distorter is 87 mm wide under the boot, which should make it a bit lighter and quicker handling than the 93mm Big Trouble. I believe the Distorter uses the same "Springblade" design as other Dynastar twin tips, which makes for a light, responsive, and stable ski. I would definitely give the Distorter a try.
