What new lifts for 10-11?

Starting to see a few folks mentioning new lifts going in this summer.  How about a list of all of them to look forward to.  A little more good news economic recovery news.  We might run out of snow for the season but what new playgrounds do we get for next year?  What is happening in your neighborhood?

My home area Crystal Mt, WA is putting in a new Gondola from the base area to the top of the Rainier Express, about 2500 vertical.

Saddleback will replace the Rangeley Double with a quad this summer. Most likely a detachable. From the base.

The other new toys around here in the Cascades I am aware of are at White Pass.  2 new chairs and about 800 acres of new lift served terrain.

That will be fun!

Buttermilk is putting a HSQ up Tiehack side, which should be very nice.

Your really going to like the new gondi at Crystal, they're really nice, especially in bad weather.

A Tiehack upgrade! Wow! That lift is ancient and takes 15 minutes or more. Re-runs for being yellow flagged were a real nuisance for those being flagged as they had to ride in their speed suits. Not to mention running 15 - 20 people later in the pack. Will it replace the two lift set up, go base to top, or just replace the long slow lift leaving the short slow lift to access the quad?

A-Basin is replacing the Exposition lift with a detach quad this summer. Note that they will close the area earlier than they have to so they can 'download' the old towers over snow. Sometime in May I think; check their web site.

I think that heavenly is replacing Galaxy lift with a high speed quad.  More importantly they are adding a new lift between sky deck and the top of the gondola.  This will really help avoid the Sky lift line when going from california to nevada.  Also it should go on wind hold less than sky.

Le Massif, Quebec to get new gondola, target completion date is Dec 2010.  Amazing, they are shooting to become the Snowbasin of the East; big place, off beaten track, long lifts, nice lodge, small crowds, no slopeside development (yet).  It will be located slightly east/downriver from existing HSQs and will ease lower mtn congestion (?) and improve access to/from expanded glades.

How that place has grown in a short period of time. Last time I skied there was 3 years ago & what a change from what I remembered. Been there 1/2 dozen different times over the years. 1st one new HSDQ then 2 now a gondi. Only quad I've ever seen with a mid-station that detaches then re-attaches. 1st time i skied there maybe a dozen or so years ago there were no lifts. A school bus dropped you off on top & picked you up at the bottom then took you back up. The base is right on the St. Lawrence Seaway. A police officer pulled me over one time driving out from the old base at the bottom. Couldn't understand a word he was saying, don't speak French. Finally figured out it was because I wasn't wearing a seat belt, no ticket. Good times.

Not that I ski there but I am a New Yorker, Hunter Mtn is putting in a new HS six pac this year & new quad next year.
