The wife and I went up to Fernie over the weekend for an overnight trip.  I went to have the guys at Top Shelf Sports to check my boot alignment.  They did a great job.   I skied on Saturday after they did a temporary cant on the boots.  It was the first time I had been there.  The snow was very nice in the morning.  The lower mountain got very slushy in the afternoon.   What a beautiful day.  Sunshine most of the day with fantastic views.

This is the view from the deck of the Lost Boys Cafe.

Excellent mountain with a great variety of terrain.  Fabulous bowls.  The snow was standard springtime conditions.   Firm in the shade.  Slushy in the sun.    I never saw much of a lift line even though it was a weekend.  It was such a beautiful day that it was nice to soak in the sun and view on the slow lifts.

Great little town.  We had an excellent dinner at the Brickhouse Bar & Grill and the local Fernie Brewing Co.  Brown Ale was very tasty.  We did not even get hassled at the border on the way back to the U.S.

As Arnold said in the terminator.  "I'll be back"
