Great stuff.

Did you see these guys at X games doing Skier Cross?  Way over the top!

That's got to be better than driveing a go-cart.!!

Or an Indy cart for that matter.!!!!

I have watched Aspen's adaptive skiers preparing for the Paralympics by racing in our RMM DH on Racer's Edge. This year there were four sit skiers. The course is not in any way designed to accomodate them. They are incredible. They go all out.

I saw a pair doing this same sort of "fast shopping cart" thing at Cannon Mtn, NH last Friday. They were doing repeat rips beside the chairlift on a big, showy black diamond run called Cannonball. The guy in the front was fearless, the guy in the back was strong as a bull. I tried to photograph them, but they were going so fast I never got a good shot. If we common folk think skiing/riding is liberating, imagine what the adaptive guys feel.

I have also witnessed this phenomenon recently.  It was a couple of instructors with special needs folks.  I assumed it was something new that the resorts are offering through the ski schools now.  The real challenge is getting them on the lift
