Just back from Killington today, Tuesday. Beautiful day not a cloud in the sky. They had real good cover and there was new snow that had fallen wet and then froze up. It was very challenging snow in the areas where it didn't soften. Where it did get the sun it was exceptional - buttery. The snow re-froze later in the afternoon even though the temp seemed to be in the mid 40s. It was a great day.
One of my favorite trails, Stitch Line, was only skied by 2 or 3 other skiers today. Every rock was covered and the firm snow carved like a bar of soap.
Maybe 3 weeks on the natural snow. Late April for Superstar.
