I gave my goggle cam to my buddy and he filmed me skiing down Gad II this morning.  Hope you enjoy the video, it was awesome up there this morning.  I'm skiing on my Fatypus Allota 140 mm under foot powder ski.  They're a lot of fun on days like today.

Thanks everybody for the kind comments.  I video a lot with my goggle cam, but this was basically the first time I've been in any of my videos, so I was pretty excited about it.  What an awesome day it was up at Snowbird March 5, 2010.  Hopefully we get more days like that this season.

You must of been up early. Traffic getting up the canyon was nuts. I got off 215 at 845 and didn't reach alta until close to 11! Still, tracked powder > no powder.

You make great videos, some of the parts looked incredibly steep. Notwithstanding the incredible fluffy, thigh deep snow, it was interesting for this neophyte to see the number of folks sprawled out like roadkill on your run...guess it is hard to ski powder and lots of folks tumbled and wiped out.

we will be in alta 1st day of april, lets hope the snow continues..

Yeah, it was slow getting to the mouth of the canyon, after that it wasn't to bad.  We were skiing at about 9:30, but there was untracked to be had at least until we left around 2PM or so.

Thanks.  There's no snow at my house in the Salt Lake valley today either, but just 10 minutes up the canyon there's 9" of new from last night.

I love that comment that it doesnt look deep with Brian in it cause he is 6' 8"...thats just great!!!!!!. Been living here at Sugarbush in Vermont for over 35 years and I can count days like you had March 5th on one hand. People from Boston and New York think we have it geat living in a ski area....no!!!! you guys out in the Wasatch mts have it great!!!!!! I like the way you guys roll much better. Keep it up and take some turns for those of us who live in the Green Mts(or should I say hills) where we get heavy wet ones in March if we are lucky.
