My wife is in the market for a new pair of skis, primarily for groomed slopes.  She is 5' '7", ~140 pounds and would use them for mainly free skiing with a little NASTAR thrown in.  We spend at most one week in Colorado with the rest of our winter on Midwest hills.

She skied recently on my old Head Supershapes (165 cm) for a few runs and found them fun but a little squirrelly.   They also bothered her lower back.  Then she jumped on my new SS Magnums (170 cm) and I lost them for the rest of the day.  She was grinning when making runs on steeper slopes but thought they were a bit dead on the flatter slopes.

She wants to demo a few more skis and I was wondering if anyone has skied on the Stockli Cross Pro, Cross Edition, and/or Fischer Progressor 9+ and can make a comparison between them and possibly the Magnums.

As a side note, the Magnums are definitely more stable than the Supershapes, possibly due to the length difference, but both are great carvers on groomers.
