Nice try though. It;s still rude to cut though the singles line as a group to bypass other groups waiting in the main line.
But singles aren't bypassing anyone. They are filling empty seats. If you're in the quad line, you don't lose your spot in line (unless it's to patrol or ski school types). If you're in the singles line, and 32 groups of four people (in a row) are in the regular line (that would be unusual, but...), you have to wait until finally a group of three comes along, right?
In fact, it seems to me that a group of four who splits up and goes into the singles line actually makes the quad line go faster, since it takes out a group (themselves) in front of the others.
