I took one of these that's shaped pretty much like a USB flash drive (or pack of gum) and hooked it up on my helmet. I duc-taped it to a little block of foam and then put some sticky velcro on the foam and the other part of the velcro on my helmet.

This is the first day I used the camera so I didn't know how the alignment would be. I look down more than I thought when I ski so I'm going to alter the foam block so it's pointed up more.
Below are a couple picks of it on my helmet and next to my helmet. (The extra duc-tape on my helmet is purely optional. I just don't think you're a real skier until you have duc-tape on your gear)
