OMG, I got in on time today, settled in at the house and headed for Brighton! What a great day... I forgot the camera in my haste to get out there and take advantage of the fresh snow but I'm sure you'll all forgive me.

Snowbird Friday, meeting up at 9 AM at the Snowbird Tram Base............Sound good?
Good!!!

4ster we're looking forward to meeting up with you.  I'll make time for you one way or the other!
Definitely take the time to ski with 4ster!  We skied with him last year at Snowbasin and it was one of the best ski days, ever.  He really knows the area and gives a great tour!

I never get tired of that video ^^^^

For more stokage.......when I went into this tree section I thought I may get boot top snow or a bit higher, it was a bit higher, like thigh deep.
Brighton Tree pow

One of the guys in our gang from Michigan said, "I came to Utah to find corduroy."
I think he's going to be disappointed.
Utah protects their corduroy with a nice blanket of powder.

Some of us have had a change in plans for Saturday.  The Michigan Posse will be hitting Deer Valley, while the RachelV crew will hit Alta as originally planned.

If anyone is heading to DV, shoot me a pm with a phone number and I'll get it on my phone, will call you for a meet up.

Whoo, what a day!  I did not have Deer Valley on my radar but with the help of a local friend and some fun skiing with Wa-Loaf, it was a great day.

Tomorrow, Solitude!  Be there!

I'll be there, hopefully we get an inch or two of snow overnight to soften things up.

 Today ............
 Snowbasin!!
We should be at the lodge early.  My plan is to have breakfast there, but my crew may overrule me.
Will be booted up and ready to ski by 9 if all goes well, 9:30 if the crew is more casual about our departure.

The food there IS off the charts good and very reasonable for what you get!

I'll second that.  My lunch was $12 and was incredible.

Snowbasin skies nicely.  It has beautiful lines followed by breaks in the steepness.  You're really going to like it.
