I've been struggling to figure out what the right boot flex is for me and I think there are several factors which make it difficult for my particular case.  I would appreciate some advise in figuring out the optimal flex without going through a bunch of boots.

Skiing Ability/Style:
I ski aggressively and almost always on groomed runs with race stock skis.  I do college racing - GS and SL only.

Current Boots:
2008 Fischer RC4 Race 120 Flex

In my particular case I have hyperflexion in my ankles and was told by a master bootfitter that it was an unusually high amount.  I am 5'10" pretty light frame. I anticipate on reaching 165 lbs by next year, not sure if this changes the choice of flex very much.

Experiences with Boots:
I have tried boots ranging in flex from 80 to 120 over the past several years. 
1) Technica Vento II's 80 flex.  Collapsed completely....could not ski 10 feet, returned them immediately.
2) Atomic RT CS 100's.  Collapsed enough to bring my knee way past toe box.  Ski feels hooky and not smooth during the turn.  There was too much bouncing in the boot like a worn out shock.
3) Fischer Race 120's (current boot) seem to drive the skis very well and give me proper support, but I feel as though I could have even more tip pressure.  Not sure if this is a result of not being able to flex the boot enough or if it is due to ramp angles and other factors.

My questions are:
1) What questions do you usually ask to determine the proper flex range for someone?
2) How much flex do you want to have in a boot whose only purpose is for racing and groomed runs?
3) I can understand how flex helps you absorb terrain in bumps and off piste...but what does it do for a racer who has pretty consistent terrain or someone who only skis groomers?
4) Are there body weight guidelines for determining boot flex?
5) I hear in the case of hyperflexion a stiffer boot is used to prevent the ankle from collapsing the boot, but at the same time I am a lighter person and the boot doesn't seem to flex very much in the cold.  Should I be thinking about softening them or are they fine for the type of skiing I am doing.
