A Quiet Ride in the Country

After getting back from the Gathering, I thought I'd relax and get in a quiet contemplative ride in the country.  The daffodils are in bloom here now, so a short flower sniffing ride was in order.  Here is an excerpt.

Very nice, peaceful, reminded me immediately of the greatest road segment ever captured on film.

I think Steve felt as uplifted as you during this ride   And like you did the driving during this 1968 filming.  Man, that guy was King of cool ...and I think you about nailed it in your vid:

Did you ever notice how many times in that sequence Steve had to pass the same green VW?  All of the roads in that are very familiar to me, but I have to say my outcome was much less dramatic as I slowly cruised the greening countryside.

I kind of miss the green big-grin smilie.

I had my sound turned off when I first watched this and was in awe or your physical prowess hauling ass like that on a bicycle, then I turned the sound on and felt really stupid realizing you were on a MOTORcycle.

Lovely footage, but all that motor noise gets in the way of a perfectly good ride.
