I wouldn't have DQ any of those. All but one appear to me to be a pretty sincere effort to discuss a dream involving the skis or skiing.. Even"loaded up n carbs" is something people do the ngiht before a big event. Just because they might not reference the post before "adequately" doesn't mean that they don't pertain to the story of a dream. Just about anything happens in dreams and they often go all over the place making little or no sense. If I win the first person that I loan the skis to will be one of ttose folks if they get DQ'd. At the very least someone should send them a PM indicating a violation of the contest
and ask them to post again.

speaking of 'fine print' and since it is tax time and I'm sort of in that frame of mind........

None were or are being DQ'd, I was simply trying to make odds and wasn't sure if they were going to count posts that didn't go with the flow of the story, as nolo posted all those who posted are eligible to win the skis regardless of the quality/content of their addition to the story.

If one wins, is there a cash value instead?? or.. Can we loan them and not accept the prize to prevent taxes? Should we start a whole new contest about that?
No, you're right. I'll just store them at my offshore ski condo in the Islands.

Nice going
blabbermouth.
That is why I plan to pass them around if I win.. Then, I will depreciate the value or donate them to charity somehow.. Maybe an EpicSki auction with proceeds going to breast cancer research or something.. But only after a bunch of Bears get to
shred some cordury on them

Maybe we should have someone click into them so they can be auctioned off as "used" there by decreasing their value. haha.

It's pretty pathetic though.
Basically what we're saying is "Could you donate some cheaper stuff for us to win?"
I nominate Cirque to take them for a spin so they're pre-owned.

You guys need to worry about this stuff after you win. Talking about tax consequences before winning is bad form.

Another win for Buck Hill!
Somehow it seems anticlimactic that these beauties will be cuttin ruts at
Buck Hill but congrats to Tag anyway
Be sure to lock em up good n tight when you go in The Bucket for some cold ones eh?
I bet Tog looked good and hard at the announcement and tried changing the font settings to make it say "Tog" instead of "Tag"

I want a recount! I want the truth!!
Congrats Tag!! You have to tell us what you're going to do with them
. (Are we installing Lo-Jack on them?)
My response to the lottery and someone else winning the Sterlings is summed up in this clip.
You want the Sterlings?
You can't handle the Sterlings!!

Congrats!!
As part of the prize now you can sit and edit the story to be readable and make sense while keeping as much of the original content as possible

I think I need to channel my teenage daughter for a minute. OMG!! SHUT UP! NO WAY!
There aren't enough
to express how I'm feeling right now!I promise the Bears that the first run on these beauties will not be at Buck Hill. I'll probably go to Afton Alps
.Thank you Sterling Skis, mod's, supporter's, and everyone who contributes to this, the best ski site on the web!!
As for what I'll do with the skis, they will be put through their paces out at Copper Mountain, the first chance I get! Once I get up the nerve to actually take them out of the box and ski on them that is. I'm in a state of shock over this.

So this is what won Sterling Skis?
Looks like you'll have a shot at making that dream come true.
I've also heard the Sterling Matterhorn Speed Skis can improve your spelling .
