I've noticed that many places in Summit county lack in customer service offerings. I've experienced a bad attitude out of "locals" and temp workers in a variety of venues (restaurants, ski shops, and on mountain). I realize they are probably depressed over lack of snow, but these people I've encountered need to lighten up, drop the attitude and make the best of what's available. I'm now returning home from a short (2 day) trip absorbing my experiences. A lot of the people are conveying a bad attitude towards us tourists who pay their paychecks. I know they are good people, but just deal with it and rock on. I'm not trying to classify the entire county, but I've spent 8 days in Summit county in 2010 and feel the place needs an attitude adjustment. I'm already thinking of 2011 destinations and Summit county is not at the top of the list. In business, it's all about the people.
